Terms of Use

Effective: 29 October 2026

  1. Agreement
These terms apply when you or your organisation use Synora Knight. By using Synora Knight you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you can accept them for it.

  2. The service
Synora Knight helps people plan their work, link tasks to results and targets, and get AI guidance. It runs on the web and in Microsoft Teams. We improve it often and may add, change or remove features. If a change removes something important you pay for, we will tell your organisation first.

  3. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with a Microsoft work account. Keep your account secure, and tell us at service@upsweepapp.com if you think it has been misused. Your organisation's administrator may manage your access.

  4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are bought through Microsoft Marketplace. Microsoft bills you, and Microsoft's Marketplace terms apply to the purchase, renewal and cancellation. Licences are per user. When a subscription ends, access to paid features ends; your planner stays on your device.

  5. Your content
You own what you put into Synora Knight. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service, as set out in the Privacy Policy. Only enter information you are allowed to share, and do not enter card, bank, tax file, Medicare or passport numbers or passwords; Synora Knight blocks these from AI.

  6. Acceptable use
    Do not:

  • break the law, or use Synora Knight to harass, discriminate against or harm anyone

  • try to get around security, sign-in or usage limits, or access other people's data

  • reverse engineer Synora Knight, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it

  • use AI answers to make employment decisions about people without human review

  • resell Synora Knight outside Microsoft Marketplace without our written agreement
We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

  1. AI guidance
Synora Knight's AI answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are suggestions, not professional, legal, financial, medical or HR advice. You decide what to act on. To report harmful or objectionable AI content, use Report this reply under any AI answer or email service@upsweepapp.com.

  2. Microsoft services
Synora Knight works with Microsoft 365, Teams and Azure. Microsoft's own terms govern those services, and their availability is outside our control.

  3. Our intellectual property
We own Synora Knight, including its software, design and names. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your access is active. They do not transfer ownership.

  4. Availability
We aim to keep Synora Knight available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of important information using Your data → Export everything, or OneDrive backup.

  5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.

  6. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue or data

  • our total liability to you or your organisation is limited to the fees paid for Synora Knight in the 12 months before the claim

  • where the law lets us limit liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again

  1. Ending use
You can stop using Synora Knight at any time and cancel through Microsoft Marketplace. We may end or suspend access for a serious breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service, with reasonable notice where possible.

  2. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date and tell you in Synora Knight at least 30 days before the change applies.

  3. Law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts.
